At Dove Healthcare, we make the admissions process as smooth as possible. Our admissions come from various referral sources such as hospitals, clinics, other nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and homes. A thorough assessment is coordinated prior to the admission so we can ensure a smooth transition. We know that the admission day can be very emotional. The staff at Dove Healthcare will be able to assist the resident and family during this time. Our goal is to make the admission process seamless. A variety of professional personnel provide guidance in areas such as therapy, resident rights, and nursing care.
Payer Sources— Dove Healthcare is certified for Medicare and Medicaid, and we also accept other payer sources including insurance, Community Health Partnership, Veterans Administration, and private pay. During the admission process, payer sources and coverage details are provided.
Safety— Safeguarding personal property is important. We discourage residents from bringing in any valuable items such as jewelry or large amounts of money. We highly recommend any cash be deposited in a resident trust account for safekeeping. You will have 24 hour access to this account through Dove's business office.
Personal Care Supplies— Residents are welcome to bring in their own preferred personal care supplies, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, etc. Dove Healthcare can also provide these basic toiletries upon your admission.
Personal Clothing— Dove Healthcare provides a laundry service or clothing can be taken home by family to wash. Clothing should be wash and wear ready. Wool or other items that are not machine washable are not recommended. Dove Healthcare will mark all clothing for identification purposes with a cloth label.
